Deadline for Registration: July 15, 2010 for Participants and July 15, 2010 for Non-Participants.
Please contact the Sport Coordinator in your Zone for playoff dates well in advance of the registration deadline.
You may try to qualify for as many sports as you like, but must choose only one sport or event to compete in at the Games.

| 2010 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGThe Annual General Meeting for Zone 2 will be held on Wednesday October 20th, 2010, at the Evergreen Seniors Centre, (aka Filberg Centre), Anderton Rd., Courtenay, in the Rotary Hall (lower hall). It will be from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

| Zone Positions for 2010 and beyond Both our Registrar and Uniform Chairs are resigning as of October 2010. Both these positions would benefit from some assistance during 2010 when the number of athletes in our zone will be quite large. This assistance would greatly help someone who was thinking of taking over either of these positions as of next October. The Zone cannot function without either of these positions so it is imperative that someone step forth and help out this year with the thoughts of being the Registrar or Uniform Chair next year.

| Positions available in our zoneThere are several positions available on our Zone 2 Committee as of October 2009. We need people with some Seniors Games experience, and some knowledge about the workings of the Games and the Society. For example:- Director, and Treasurer. We also need people who like to get out and about their community and meet people and talk about the games. For example an area representative who interacts with the seniors in their geographical area and spreads the word about the games, their playdowns etc. This position is vacant in Area 2 - Parksville, Qualicum, Bowser, Coombs, and Errington. Please spread the word, and contact any member of our executive committee.
