Once again HAWK AIR has come forward to sponsor the zone,by providing FREE transportation for the Director(or alternate)to attend meetings of the senior games society.This support,is invaluable.All members and their families are requested to FLY HAWK AIR,whenever possible.


We managed to add twenty(23)new members to our ranks in 2011.of these(23)ten(10)will be attending the games.We have 149 members in 2011.lets try to add AT LEAST another twenty(23)three,for 2012.Remember,for each fifteen($15)dollar membership collected,nine($9)dollars,stays in the zone.
You  DO NOT have to be 55 yrs.of age to join.You can JOIN the society at nineteen(19)yrs.of age(55yrs.or more to participate)

The AGM was held in Kitimat on Oct22nd.there were twenty(25)members in attendance.Was nice to see,the members from Prince Rupert,make the trip.Bill Whitty accepted the nomination for zone director and went in by acclamation.

The AGM in 2012,will have  ALL executive positions,open for election.Its time for some NEW blood,so give some SERIOUS thought to becoming involved at the executive level.This gives you a year to,attend meetings,ask questions,observe how the zone operates,etc.etc.etc.so when Oct.27th.2012 arrives,you will be ready.

 The 2011 Games are now behind us. We had 69 attend the Games, of which 61 were participants. These participants brought home a total of forty(46)six medals.This included the four(4)from isolation zone #13(Haida Gwaii)A  very good showing(for sure)Congratulations to ALL the medal winners.

If you win a medal, thats a bonus.Having fun and enjoying the comeraderie,with old and new friends alike,is REALLY what the games are all about.

Its NOW time to focus on the 2012 Games,to be held in Burnaby,from Aug. 21st.--25th.
