 Important Information Minimize

Deadline for Registration: July 17, 2009 for Participants and July 17, 2009 for Non-Participants.

Please contact the Sport Coordinator in your Zone for playoff dates well in advance of the registration deadline.

You may try to qualify for as many sports as you like, but must choose only one sport or event to compete in at the Games.

2008 games results

 The final medal count from PG was 79   As well as one of our members being part of the 80+ladies 4x100 meter  world record setting performance.An absolute fantastic result from the 129 participants that competed.
So the 2008 PG games are behind us and its time to  start preparations for the 2009 games in RICHMOND,SEPT.16TH.--19TH.
The  BC SENIORS GAMES will be the FIRST organized group to USE the OLYMPIC OVAL(its a magnificient bldg.)with  a number of events being held there,including Floor Curling,Badminton,Bridge,Carpet Bowling,Square Dancing,Accreditation and the Banquet.
MINORU PARK will be the location for the Opening/Closing ceremonies as well as ,Ice Hockey,Archery,Soccer and a number of other events
Dragon Boat will be using the NEW  ubc   Boat House
Some events  will be starting on WED.including,Equestrian,Ice Hockey,Ice Curling,Slow Pitch,Soccer .As the info.becomes available this list will be updated.
All events will start @ 8/8:30 am.each day,thereby allowing for an earlier finish,which will give time for other things of interest.

A REMINDER TO ZONE 10 MEMBERS.When flying from Prince Rupert or Terrace,please remember that Hawkair has been a BIG supporter of zone 10,over the years,so therefore."WE FLY HAWKAIR"

YOU WILL NOTICE A NUMBER OF POSITIONS MARKED "tba"
Volunteers are Needed......Don't be Shy.....Get Involved


 Coordinators are also needed for individual sports/events

 The AGM,was held on Sat.Oct.25th. All the exec.positions were filled and a social was held at the royal cdn. legion,in the evening,there were approx.50 people in attendance to enjoy the meal.
ITS time now,to start getting ready for the Richmond games.

THE GAMES WILL BE IN RICHMOND IN 2009 FROM SEPT.16-19.MUCH WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE IF WE WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL
