1. Make sure you are eligible to compete (See the  'About Us'  page)
2. Find out which Zone you are in (Click Zone Map)
3. Contact the Sport Co-ordinator of your Zone to let him/her know you are interested in participating and to find out the details of any playdowns and where to send payments
4. Fill out an Application Form 'A' (available on the website by clicking here or from your local Sport Co-ordinator) 
5. All Participants, Non-Participants, and Substitutes (Subs) are required to pay the $15.00 annual membership fee, at which time they will become a "registered member"
6. If you are selected and willing to attend the Games you will then:

• answer details on the application form such as dietary needs, transportation needs and medical information (optional)
• pay the $50.00 Participant fee plus any sport fees which may occur:
  • Dragon Boat Racing - $35.00
  • Five Pin Bowling - $15.00
  • Badminton - $5.00
  • Golf – $50.00
  • Ice Curling - $15.00
  • Ice Hockey  - $15.00
  • Slo-Pitch - $2.00
  • Track and Field - if entered in more than 5 events - add $10.00 per additional event

7. Non-Participants -- if you are there to support someone or want to be more involved than a spectator, you should pick out the sport with which you will be associated and fill out the Application Form and become a member of the Society for $15.00 and $35.00 to become a non-participant .  This entitles you to the lunches that are delivered to the venues on Thursday and Friday and to attend the banquet and dance. 
8. Substitutes (Subs) -- someone who has become a registered member and is willing to attend the Games, on an as required basis.  Substitutes replace someone, who for personal reasons, must drop out of the Games.  Subs must be members, and if they do attend the Games as a Participant, will pay the $50.00 fee and any additional sport fees accordingly.
9. As a condition of entry into the BC Seniors Games, it must be understood that the participants and volunteers enter entirely at their own risk and will not hold the BC Seniors Games Society (BCSGS), the Comox Valley and Campbell River 2010 BC Seniors Games Society, the BC Games Society (BCGS) and the Province of British Columbia, their staff, agents, and volunteer workers responsible for injury or loss of damage occuring during the 2010 BC Seniors Games.   Participants and volunteers agree to release, discharge and undertake not to commence any action against the Comox Valley and Campbell River 2010 BC Seniors Games Society, the BC Games Society and the Province of British Columbia from any and all claims and causes of action, or liability of any kind whatsoever for injury, property damage, or death, which in any way results from participating in the 2010 BC Seniors Games.  The Comox Valley and Campbell River 2010 BC Seniors Games Society, the BCSGS, the BCGS and the Province of British Columbia do not assume responsibility for loss of wages, medical, dental, or hospital care for athletes, officials, or volunteers during the 2010 BC Seniors Games.
